This was a time for the artist when everything was challenging and life reserved a lot of surprises, good and bad but at the same time everything felt exciting. The question at the time this was happening was: Why wrapping tree branches in fabric? Well, the trees were not wrapped to be hidden from sight or wrapped as gifts are wrapped to give family and friends. As a reflection to this, the trees were clothed in the pleasures and displeasures which colour life. The challenge lies in recognising the colour in life. This work was exhibited in a collective exhibition called Barra, at the University of Malta.
